      Hello everyone! My name is Viktoriia Yuksha, and I am in my second year at Montmorency College in Laval. I am 19 years old and currently studying Food Service and Restaurant Management. Food Service and Restaurant Management is a three-year program that covers a variety of topics in the restaurant business. The first two years of the program are at Montmorency College followed by 1 year at ITHQ in Montreal. We study management, cooking, catering, and much more. It covers every aspect of maintaining a restaurant business. To understand more about food, we have laboratory experiments to further our understanding of cooking. Additionally, we learn how to standardize menus, prepare classic French cuisine, preform proper service to customers, and account. I really enjoy taking this program because of its variation of studies in the kitchen. In particular, I like learning about sanitation practices and the management of a restaurant business. I believe that by studying this program at Montmorency, I will be provided many opportunities and be able to pursue my goals in the future. 🍽️
